Tijuana News Baja Goes for Space Dollars

In a renewed bid to further position their localities in a booming 21st century industry, officials in Tijuana and Baja California will host an aerospace conference later this month. Jacobo Ackerman Garcia, local delegate for Mexico’s Economy Ministry, said the goal of the July 21-22 event at Tijuana’s international airport is to provide a networking opportunity for industry leaders, manufacturers and representatives of Mexican government agencies. Baja California will be Showcased at the Paris Air Show 2011

During the Paris Air Show the Baja CA team will feature a business seminar, Tuesday June 21st, focused on supply chain opportunities for the $30 billion U.S. Dollar market within the Southwest United States and Northwest Mexico ($2 billion just in Baja CA). Visitors of the Mexico Pavilion will meet with experts on how to establish a manufacturing operation in Baja CA, as well as the availability of government incentives. Read more:
